Dear Families of St. Joseph's School:
The St Joseph PTA would like to remind you and invite you to join us as we make a positive difference in the education and quality of life for our children.
We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them. PTA can help you achieve that goal!
PTA is a support group of the school. Every school family is automatically a member with voting privileges. All parents/guardians are strongly encouraged
to be active members. The purpose of this organization is to encourage support among the school parents, socialize with each other, provide public relations on
school related issues, to raise funds and make decisions on how those funds are spent for the benefit of St. Joseph School.
We all know that children benefit when parents, school staff, students and the community work together. PTA can unite these groups to share thoughts and
ideas about programs and activities that educate and serve children. Our PTA provides information and resources that inform and equip parents to help our children succeed.
St. Joseph PTA sponsors programs such as:
- - STP
- - Trunk or Treat
- - Cookie Dough Sale
- - Missoula Children's Theater
- - Teacher Appreciation
- - BINGO night
St Joseph PTA's goals for the coming year are:
- - Enhance communication and information about school events, activities and concerns.
- - Increase PTA membership/involvement to encourage open dialogue for suggestions and improvement.
We encourage you to think about this 2012-13 school year and consider becoming a room parent for your child's classroom to represent your child's class at the PTA meetings.
Room parents play an important role in helping to coordinate and implement classroom activities and by participating in PTA, you will become an integral part of the
communication between home and school.
PTA serves as a vehicle for personal contact with the school and promotes home/school programs and projects. Meetings will be held once a month in the school auditorium.
Parents receive 1 (one) hour volunteer service (per family) per meeting attended.
Information will be posted in the school newsletters, on the PTA bulletin board in the school and our website. Or feel free to contact any of the 2012-13 PTA Officers.
We look forward to partnering with you!
Sincerely,
Jackie McDonald, PTA President, jaguila05@comcast.net
Cindy Jendryka, PTA Secretary, cindy.jendryka@comcast.net
Franzi Koenig, PTA Vice-President
Michelle Lee, PTA Treasurer
